The combo is a unique touch up tool with dual applicators, a brush on one end and a pen on the other. The dual applicators enable more types of repairs to be performed successfully.

Prior to beginning your touch up job, determine which side of the combo applicator you will be using.  Continue using the selected applicator for each step in the process, i.e. if you determine you need to use the brush, use the brush for all steps.

The pen and brush each serve different purposes. The pen is best for tiny stone chips, fine line scratches, and anything where you need to minimize the amount of paint you are applying. The brush works best for slightly larger scratches where more paint is needed. We recommend practicing on the included test card with both applicator types to help determine which is best suited for your project.

Clearcoat provides the gloss on a paint job and is the protective coating designed to withstand the elements. Clearcoat is required to achieve the proper color match.

1. If using the brush applicator, hold the container with the black brush cap pointing up. Twist to open. Remove excess clearcoat by lightly dragging the brush along the inside opening as you remove it from the container.  If using the pen applicator, use a soft cloth to prime the tip. Carefully depress the tip until it is saturated with the clearcoat. This will take 30-60 seconds.
2. Lightly dab the clearcoat onto the area to be painted. If using the pen end, do not use a drawing or rubbing motion as if using a marker; simply dab. If using the brush end, lightly brush the paint onto the area to be painted. Cover the area thoroughly and allow it to dry for 15 minutes. Repeat this process applying 2-3 coats of clearcoat. Do not exceed 4 coats.
3. Allow to dry for 48 hours before polishing.
