Urethane paint is the old warhorse of the paint world, but it still remains an excellent product. Some older or less popular colors continue to be formulated in urethane when color matching with the newer waterborne paint system is unavailable. 

Urethane colorcoat/clearcoat systems are still very relevant in today’s automotive paint world. They essentially transformed the auto paint industry in the 1980’s-1990’s by offering superior color choice and vibrancy with a tremendous increase in overall durability. So while we formulate our newest colors in waterborne, every single color we sell in urethane still achieves the highest quality standards in the industry.
